Who we are
Groupement FLE is a group of professionals who have come together with the aim of offering a guarantee of both service and quality to students, business clients and those passionate about learning the French language. This “Reference of Quality” rests upon fixed criteria, concrete commitments and official quality controls, clearly defined in a reference document which every school present on this site fully adheres to. The Groupement FLE also has the aim of promoting the centres which make up its membership, and offers a space where they can meet, share their experiences and pool a certain number of resources.

Groupement FLE and quality
The Groupement FLE is the first professional organisation in France to have established a code of conduct (1999), and committed itself to an ongoing quality control process for it's member schools.
This process led to the creation of a Reference Document based on the criteria used by professionals working in the domain of FLE and integrating the ideas of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This reference Document is the sole which takes into account the European Norm EN 14804 concerning the reception of students. This allows the member schools to meet the high standards demanded by our group.
In the case where applicant schools have already obtained a documented, officially recognised quality certification, our standard adds a reinforced guarantee of quality and service.
Beyond the question of quality, the group is characterised by the pooling of know-how and information, and the promotion of member schools in the spirit of clarity and support.
It’s this global project combined with the strong mutual support between member schools and associated professionals which differentiates Groupement FLE from labels or organisations of certification.

During your classes you’ll be accompanied by native French speaking teachers, all specialising in the teaching of French to foreign students. Our teachers are recruited for their teaching skills, as well as their ability to transmit the subtleties of the French language and a certain «vie à la française» Of course, learning French in France involves participating in classes but also taking advantage of your time here in France to discover and enjoy the French way of life. How to join Groupement FLE ?
To become a member of Groupement FLE, the candidate centre must prove the quality of all its services either by having a preliminary inspection from a recognised body (please see article 3 of our company rules) or by having a direct audit inspection from the group itself.
All candidate schools must begin by completing a self-assessment form (which will be used as a pre-filter). They must then conform to the group’s guidelines and professional ethics. But joining Groupement FLE isn’t just about becoming a member.
The group’s member centres are part of the Groupement FLE association and as such must take part in the professional events which take place once a year. Our members are asked to be involved in the group, take part in year-round activities to network, promote as well as participate in operations to improve the quality of their services in the interest of the group as a whole.

 a été créée pour rassembler ceux qui, en France et hors de France, s'intéressent à la didactique du français langue étrangère, domaine d'activités en pleine mutation et pour faire reconnaître la didactique du français langue étrangère dans sa spécificité scientifique. Elle veut être un lieu privilégié de rencontres entre enseignants, chercheurs, institutions publiques et privées et qui s'ouvre de plus en plus largement à la didactique des langues et à la problématique des politiques linguistiques. Elle organise diverses manifestations et édite des publications pour faire régulièrement le point sur les innovations et la recherche, ainsi que sur les évolutions des politiques linguistiques et pour faire connaître les spécificités des différentes institutions dans ce domaine.
