Presentation of the center
Paris : Our Nation Campus is a summer school in the heart of the capital, close to all tourist attraction and only a few minute walk to the Place de la Nation, subway/RER. On site: our classrooms, residential accommodation (individual or twin rooms with ensuite 2 piece bathroom – shared toilets, or rooms or 4 or 5 with shared bathrooms), cafeteria, computer room with internet access common rooms, outdoor sports fields, gymnasium, outdoor patio and garden.
Cannes : Our Boutique Language school Escapade Cannes is situated in the residential neighborhood of La Bocca, a few steps from the beach and easily accessible from downtown Cannes. We welcome our students in a warm intimate atmosphere. The school facilities include, modern and design classrooms equipped with TV/DVD, internet café, a patio/lounge. The residence (shared apartments) is just across the street from the school, with a swimming pool.
Biarritz : Our Biarritz / Anglet centre is located by the beach of Anglet and close to the Chiberta forest, only a few minutes by bus from the centre of Biarritz. Classes are held in a college, equipped with classrooms, computer rooms and sports fields. Residential accommodation (twin rooms with ensuite bathroom) is in a vacation club with swimming pool, tennis, sports fields, restaurant and only a few steps from the beach.
Presentation of the city
Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, romantic, rich in culture and history. Wit hits museums, from the most famous, “Le Louvre” to the newest, “Le Quai Branly”, its monuments and emblem La Tour Eiffel, it various picturesque and lively neighborhoods from Montmartre to Quartier Latin, its cafes, bars, bistros, its shopping… the French capital is an invitation for discoveries.
Cannes is an exceptional site with its old town overlooking the Bay of Cannes and the Lerins Islands. The centre vibrates around the Palais des Festivals, on the sea-side along the Croisette. Famous for it’s Film Festival, Cannes is a star city at most.
Biarritz is the European Surf capital. Surfers meet at the Grand Plage in front of the Casino or at Cote des Basques. The city is nice and lively in summer with French and European families and tourist on vacation.
Educational approach of the Center
We offer various possibilities to choose from: general, intensive or theme courses as well as, in Cannes, Executive tuition, and Teacher Training. Our goal is to give the students different options for the pleasure of learning French at their own pace and according to their interests.
Our courses are also all based on the French culture and regional aspects through a variety of themes such as customs, gastronomy, history, geography, cinema, fashion, arts, sports and local events. Classes are set after testing according to the levels of the European Norm.
Classes are based on communication, in order to allow our students, within their level, to be able to use their knowledge of French to understand and speak it.
Presentation of services (lodging and culture)
Activities: Our centers offer a variety of activities and excursions (some can be included or not depending on the programme booked). Cultural activities (museums, monuments, guided neighborhood visits, theme visits with regional aspect, arts and crafts…), sports activities (volleyball, basketball, sea sports, surf…) day excursions (to other cities or interesting places in the area, sports excursions…) and various evening activities and events. For the junior programme a weekly schedule is set with various options. Activities are every afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Accommodation: We offer accommodation in residence (single rooms, twin rooms or shared apartments depending on the centre) or in French host families near the centers. At Escapade Cannes our range of accommodation also includes other types of accommodation from Hotels to B&B. For the Junior programmes accommodation is mainly residential, however we also offer the possibility for homestay in Cannes and Biarritz.
Advantages of the Center
