Private Institute of further education. Of worldwide renown, Cavilam was founded in 1964 by the universities of Clermont-Ferrand and the municipality of Vichy. It is one of the benchmarks of teaching French as a foreign language and teacher training.

Educational approach of the Center
Cavilam has specialised in creating innovative teaching tools, linking French language learning to the discovery of the cultural environment. It has contributed to numerous projects with TV5Monde, Canal Académie, RFI, the Export Bureau for French music, the Ministry of foreign and European affairs, the International organisation for French-speaking communities. Cavilam strives to bring teaching innovation to the daily routine of the classroom.
