Presentation of the center
The Summer University is located in Boulogne-sur-Mer’s city center. Its campus is spacious -- indoors, you’ll find numerous classrooms, activity rooms, and residence housing, while outside, you’ll find recreational areas and tree-filled lawns. The city’s principal sites – the city center, Medieval quarter, harbor and beach – are all within easy walking distance.
Presentation of the city
Boulogne-sur-Mer is the capital of the Opal Coast, a region in the north of France that is popular with tourists. This welcoming city has earned the «City of Art and History» label. It is characterized by its fishing harbor, Medieval quarter and Castle Museum, shops, Aquarium (Nausicaa), and its diverse summer entertainment (festivals, theme days and more).
Educational approach of the Center
Groups organized by skill level, with a maximum of 8-15 people per class. A diversified approach to language learning with several teachers per group offering great interactivity. Language learning takes place all day long thanks to the numerous additional activities offered and our team of activity leaders (made up of young adults and students from the region) who are always present outside of class hours.
